Driving More Visitors to Your Web Pages Using Article Marketing Leveraging

By Victor Krumm

Wish to drive moretraffic to your web site and get your pages showing better in Google or another search engine's Search Results than those of your competition?

The Web is an especially big place: millions and millions of internet sites; trillions of web pages.

Even allowing for that, if you put article promoting using free article directories at the core of a strategy aimed at increasing web traffic and get back links, it is possible to get lots of your pages to the top of Google Search Results where, naturally, most traffic comes from.

Article marketing is a kind of advertising where you write short ezine articles that are distributed across many free article marketplaces like blogs and article directory sites. Every article is related to your site's niche and has 2 back links (made by you with anchor text of your preference), either in the content of the article or, in the case of article directory sites, in a specially created author's resources area provided by every directory.

Bloggers and other web-masters always are on the lookout for new content so they constantly visit article directories that allow them to take any article they want for free provided only that they keep all links in the content and resource boxes intact, in effect recognizing the source of the article (and maintaining an author's copyright).

Marketing articles is a win-win for the article sites, the writers of articles, and their downstream users.

Directories often have advertising or Adsense on their sites and get tons of free content for their users.

Contributors get free exposure (think advertising) in return for their contributions. This, in turn, leads to more traffic and third party web sites linking to an author's websitesâ€"-and, of course, better rankings in the Search Results.

Users get free articles for the websites or blogs.

The best article marketers have a strategy whereby they consistently, habitually post unique versions of a single article (using modern spinning technology) to a host of free directories, thus leveraging the traffic and back links they get back.

Imagine it this way.

If posting a single article to a single blog or article directory produces "x" amount of exposure, traffic, and back links, using technology to post similar but different versions of that single article to, say, several dozen or more blogs and directories, the leveraging chances of that single article becomes apparent.

Don't be misled by so-called "experts" pronouncing that article promotion no longer works. They either don't know what they are talking about or are doing it all wrong.

True web experts consistently create and post lots of articles to large numbers of directories. You should do so as well if you hope to flourish on the Web.
